About GNOME Nibbles
GNOME Nibbles is a maze game in which players guide a worm to collect bonuses and grow longer while avoiding walls, other worms, and collisions with itself. Enemy worms compete for the same bonuses, so players must balance collecting items with maneuvering through the available space. Each worm has ten lives, losing one when it runs into an obstacle or another worm. The game progresses through 26 maps that increase in difficulty. Early maps are more open, while later ones introduce tighter spaces and teleporters. It can be played solo against up to five enemy worms, or two people can share a keyboard for local play. The changing maze layouts and competing worms make positioning and avoiding collisions central to each round.
