About Hestia
Hestia controls compatible Shelly smart-home devices directly over a local network. It communicates with devices through their built-in HTTP API and supports Gen2 and later models. A channel dashboard shows device state and provides a switch control, while schedules can be created as one-time or recurring plans. Plans can optionally stop when a power threshold is reached. Timers can run on the device itself, so an “on for” action continues even if the phone is turned off. Hestia can also create a presence-simulation script that runs on the device and switches it on and off within a chosen time window, with randomized timing. Configuration can be backed up and restored as JSON, and optional instant notifications are available through ntfy. Hestia is intended for local control and communicates with device addresses entered by the user; network discovery is not used. Notifications are off by default. The app is available in French and English. It is an independent compatibility project, not an official product of the device manufacturer.
