SOFTWARE OVERVIEW

Hupl

Hupl uploads files from Android to HTTP servers that the user configures.

About Hupl

Hupl uploads files from Android to HTTP servers that the user configures. Files can be sent directly from another app through Android’s share menu, so a document or image can be passed to Hupl without first browsing for it inside an uploader. The server configuration can include custom parameters, and multiple upload destinations can be saved. After an upload, Hupl keeps a local history of the transfer and any generated link. Server settings can be exported or imported as JSON, making it easier to back up or move the configuration. Images can optionally be resized or compressed before upload. The app supports most simple file-hosting services that accept POST-based uploads and includes preset configurations for popular services. Hupl has no accounts, advertising, or tracking, according to its description. Upload history and server settings remain on the device. Files are sent to a configured host only when the user explicitly chooses them for upload. The destination service receives the selected file as part of that transfer. Hupl is useful for people who use compatible HTTP upload endpoints and want a reusable share-sheet workflow, with a local record of links and optional image processing. Its compatibility depends on the server’s POST interface and any required custom parameters.
