About Inter Profile Sharing
Inter Profile Sharing transfers media and text between Android user profiles on the same device. Android profiles isolate apps, app data, and files from one another, which can make it difficult to move information between a personal profile and a separate work or restricted profile. This app provides a way to deliberately share selected content across that boundary. The workflow is designed to resemble sharing content to another app: the user selects the media or text they want to pass to another profile. A notification then appears in the receiving profile, where the recipient can download, share, or copy the item from the profile in which it is available. The transfer is limited to profiles on the same Android device. All inter-profile communication happens locally. The app does not require an internet connection, a server, or a third-party service to move the selected information. This makes it a focused bridge between profiles rather than a general file-sync tool or cloud-sharing service. Inter Profile Sharing is free and open-source software, with no ads, tracking, or in-app purchases according to its description. It is useful when profile isolation is desired but a user still needs a controlled way to pass a particular photo, file, or text between the profiles on one phone or tablet.
