About KeepADB
KeepADB is an Android utility for keeping Wireless Debugging available and controlling it from the app, a Quick Settings tile, or a home-screen widget. An optional keep-alive service can monitor the connection and attempt recovery after restarts, Wi-Fi reconnections, or access-point changes. Android may require the user to approve wireless debugging on a network; if the system does not confirm activation, the app backs off instead of retrying rapidly. The app can discover wireless debugging endpoints through local network discovery and display their status. An optional webhook can be used with verified endpoints. Network tools are marked beta and include Wi-Fi and access-point functions, plus an optional restriction to trusted networks. A privacy mode can hide endpoint addresses in the app. The app supports 19 interface languages and can show USB debugging status, associate it with an editable host profile, and offer or perform a USB-to-Wi-Fi handover. KeepADB does not require root, but its core Wireless Debugging control needs a protected Android permission granted during setup from a trusted computer. Trusted-network filtering is off by default; enabling it requires location access to identify Wi-Fi networks, but the app says it does not read or store location. Wireless Debugging exposes an authenticated development service on the connected network, so the supplied guidance recommends using it only on trusted networks.
