About Mages
Mages is an experimental Matrix messaging client for Android and desktop. It shows a room list with previews and unread counts, and supports room and thread timelines containing text and media. The app includes a spaces view for organizing related rooms, along with basic presence and privacy settings. End-to-end encryption is supported through the messaging library used by the client. Mages combines room browsing, threaded conversations, and basic account controls in a multiplatform interface. Its UI is built with a shared cross-platform toolkit, while a Rust library handles core messaging functions. It is described as experimental, so its current feature set is limited to the capabilities listed and may change as development continues.
