About Mempal
Mempal monitors the Bitcoin network’s mempool and provides information to help users understand transaction activity. It displays block height, network hash rate, mempool size, fee rates, and fee distribution. Notifications can be configured for falling fees, confirmation of a particular transaction ID, or the mining of new blocks. Widgets provide quick access to selected network statistics. A fee estimator lets users specify address type, input and output counts, optional multisignature configuration, and a preferred fee rate to estimate a transaction fee. Users can connect the app to a self-hosted mempool server instead of relying on a third-party information source. Built-in Tor integration is described for looking up transaction IDs more privately. Mempal is a monitoring and estimation tool, not a wallet or investment adviser. Network metrics and fee estimates change over time and depend on the data source and transaction details entered. The supplied evidence describes Bitcoin-specific monitoring and transaction-fee planning; it does not describe sending funds or managing keys.
