About MIFARE Classic Tool
MIFARE Classic Tool is an Android NFC utility for reading, writing, and analyzing MIFARE Classic tags. It can save, edit, and share tag data, write data block by block, and copy a tag dump to another compatible tag. It also supports formatting tags, inspecting manufacturer data on special tags, and working with external NFC readers. The app includes tools for managing key dictionaries and testing keys the user already has against sectors, as well as decoding and encoding value blocks and access conditions. Tag information can be examined as highlighted hexadecimal or ASCII data, and access conditions can be shown in a table. Data files can be imported, exported, or converted, and the app includes offline help. MIFARE Classic Tool is a low-level tool for users with basic familiarity with the tag technology. It works only with MIFARE Classic RFID tags and requires an NFC-capable device or compatible external reader. Device support varies. The app is open source and is intended for inspecting and managing tags the user is authorized to access.
