About MoldQueen
MoldQueen controls compatible Mould King building-block remote-control toys from an Android phone over Bluetooth Low Energy. It connects directly through the phone’s Bluetooth radio, without a separate computer, network, or cloud account. Each toy can use a model-specific dashboard or a generic control layout, including a multi-axis controller and a gamepad-style interface. Controls include proportional drag joysticks and press-and-hold buttons. Users can set speed limits per channel, invert channels, or inspect raw channel values. A setup workflow helps assign toy motors to control channels based on a vehicle type and motor count, with manual adjustments available. A paired Bluetooth gamepad can be used alongside touch controls. The app includes an emergency stop that cuts movement immediately. Active channels must be refreshed continuously, so if a control stops sending updates or the connection drops, the channel returns to neutral. This behavior is intended to reduce the chance that a toy continues moving after control is lost. MoldQueen supports several toy layouts and six interface languages. It is an independent controller for compatible hardware and does not require the manufacturer’s app or a network connection.
