About NetToggle
NetToggle provides Quick Settings controls for changing the cellular network mode on Android. Users can build a cycle of two or three preferred modes and move between them from a tile. Available modes include preferred 5G, 5G-only, preferred 4G, LTE-only, preferred 3G, and 2G-only where legacy networks remain available. The app can target the active SIM, a selected SIM, or both SIMs, and filters modes based on device, SIM, and carrier capabilities. Shortcuts and routines can trigger up to four custom actions. Broadcast automation is available for supported automation tools but is disabled until the user opts in. The tile shows the active mode and SIM target, can optionally restore a previous mode if the system changes it, and refreshes state without continuous polling. Copyable diagnostic reports help investigate command failures and SIM detection. NetToggle requires either root access or an authorized Shizuku setup; it cannot change network modes without one of these privileged mechanisms. Some network modes may cause calls or service to fail, particularly when a network or carrier lacks the required voice features, so preferred modes are available as fallbacks. Support starts at Android 7, but actual capabilities depend on the phone, modem, SIM, carrier, and local network. The app has no internet permission, ads, analytics, or trackers, according to its description.
