About OPNsense Manager
OPNsense Manager is an Android client for managing an OPNsense firewall. It can show system status, CPU and memory use, uptime, gateway state, and service status, with controls to start, stop, or restart services. Users can manage multiple firewall profiles, view and change firewall rules, and inspect live logs with filters for pass, block, or reject actions. The app also provides live network monitoring, device discovery, connection details, and DHCP lease management. Devices can be searched by IP address, hardware address, or hostname, and can be blocked from the monitoring or lease views. VPN controls cover OpenVPN, Tailscale, and WireGuard status and management. Access is protected with a PIN or biometric lock and configurable auto-lock. Credentials are stored using platform-specific encrypted storage, according to the description. Multiple profiles support different firewall instances. OPNsense API access must be enabled, the device must have network connectivity to the firewall, and the firewall must run version 20.7 or later. The app supports Android 5 and newer and describes itself as connecting directly to the firewall without third-party services; configuration changes can affect network security and should be made with care.
