About PaperTerm
PaperTerm is an SSH terminal designed for e-paper Android devices. Its high-contrast dark-on-white palette keeps terminal text readable on slow-refresh displays, and page-turn controls let users navigate output with volume keys or on-screen arrows. Several scrolling modes accommodate editors and terminal multiplexers. The app supports Korean and other CJK input, composing characters without sending backspaces that could disrupt full-screen terminal applications. Users can customize an extra-keys row, import fonts, and adjust text size with a pinch gesture. SSH connections support password or key authentication, known-host verification, keepalive, reconnection after unexpected disconnects, clipboard interaction, and per-host environment settings. PaperTerm is a pure SSH client: it does not provide a local shell or local code execution. It is intended for connecting to remote systems from an e-reader-style device, with controls and typography adapted to e-paper screens.
