About PinPoi
PinPoi imports and organizes points of interest for use with a GPS navigation app. It supports several common geographic file formats, including KML and KMZ, OV2, GeoRSS, GPX, ASC, CSV, and zipped collections. Imported places can be organized into collections on the phone, making large sets easier to manage. Users can search for a point of interest based on their current GPS position or a location they choose. A destination can be selected from a map and opened in the user’s preferred navigation app. This lets PinPoi serve as a preparation and organization tool for saved locations, while navigation itself is handed to another app. The app is useful for people who already have POI files from different sources and want to bring them together on a phone. The supported file formats allow existing collections to be imported without manually entering each location.
