About Pixel 5G
Pixel 5G is a utility for changing the NR mode used by supported Pixel phones. On some devices and in some regions, the default modem configuration may not allow connection to a 5G non-standalone network. With root access, the app can change the modem mode to allow NSA or both standalone and non-standalone 5G. The app is limited to Pixel models using a Samsung modem, specifically the Pixel 6 through Pixel 9 generation listed in its description. It is intended for users who need to adjust the modem’s 5G mode on compatible hardware; it does not apply to other phone models or replace the requirements of the carrier network.
