About Platypush
Platypush provides an Android interface for finding and controlling Platypush instances on a local network. The app scans for services automatically using network discovery and also allows users to connect manually to devices that are not found. Once connected, it opens the responsive web interface exposed by the selected service. Through that interface, users can control connected integrations such as lights, switches, cameras, and music or media playback. The app itself is a remote control and discovery client; the available devices and actions depend on which integrations are configured on the Platypush instance. It does not provide those devices or services independently. Platypush is intended for people who already run the corresponding service and want to access its controls from an Android phone. Automatic scanning can locate instances on the same network, while manual connection provides an alternative when discovery does not work. The supplied description does not specify account or authentication setup, remote access outside the local network, or which integrations are supported in detail.
