About Primitive FTPd
Primitive FTPd turns an Android device into a file server that other machines can reach over Wi-Fi. It supports both FTP and SFTP, allowing files to be exchanged without connecting a USB cable. The server runs without root privileges and is started manually, so it does not begin accepting connections automatically when the phone boots. While the server is active, the app prevents the device from entering standby so that long uploads or downloads are less likely to be interrupted. Primitive FTPd provides a direct way to access files on the phone from another computer on the network, with the user controlling when the service is running.
