About RaspFinder
RaspFinder helps locate a Raspberry Pi on the same Wi-Fi network as an Android phone. It searches the local network and displays the device’s IP address, which can be used to connect to the Pi when its address is not known or the router’s device list is unavailable. The app is designed for a quick search, with a simple interface and no advertisements. The Raspberry Pi and phone must be connected to the same network. The supplied description notes that the search does not work when MAC address spoofing is in use. RaspFinder is intended as a network-discovery helper for Raspberry Pi owners, not as a remote-control or administration tool. It identifies an address but does not itself provide a terminal, file browser, or service management interface.
