About RelayPony

RelayPony transfers files directly between phones without an account or cloud storage. The recipient opens the app and shows a QR code; the sender scans it, chooses files, and starts the transfer. Pairing is remembered so later transfers to that device can be started with fewer steps. Multiple devices can be paired and sent the same files together. Transfers can use local Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct when there is no shared network. Files are encrypted end to end using the age encryption standard, and the app can reconnect and continue if a connection drops. Progress is shown during the transfer. The camera is used for QR pairing, while nearby-device and Wi-Fi access support finding and connecting to the recipient. RelayPony works without internet and has no account, cloud service, ads, or tracking according to its description. It is open-source software intended for transferring photos, videos, documents, or other files directly from one phone to another.
