About Remote Numpad
Remote Numpad turns an Android phone into a numeric keypad for a computer or another Bluetooth-enabled device. It supports three connection methods: an experimental Bluetooth HID mode that can work directly with compatible devices, classic Bluetooth, and TCP over Wi-Fi. The latter two require a companion server running on the receiving computer. The app is useful when a laptop lacks a dedicated number pad or when numeric entry is more convenient from a phone. Bluetooth HID mode requires Android P or later according to the supplied information. The project also provides a separate server component for classic Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections; those modes cannot work without it. Remote Numpad is a remote input tool rather than a full keyboard replacement. Its compatibility depends on the selected connection type and the receiving device. Bluetooth HID support is identified as experimental, while the other modes require the companion server to be available.
