About Spider
Spider is an SFTP client for connecting to a remote file server. Users can sign in with a password or a PEM private key; encrypted PEM keys are supported in the described release. After connecting, they can browse the server’s files, download an item with a long press, or upload files with the add button. A pull-down gesture refreshes the file listing. The app provides basic mobile file transfer for an SFTP server, with password and key-based authentication options. Key files must be in PEM format. Spider’s workflow is focused on browsing remote folders and moving files between the Android device and the server.
