About SSHBorg
SSHBorg is an Android client for connecting to remote servers over SSH and managing files through SFTP. Its interactive terminal supports VT100 and xterm emulation, UTF-8, and multiple concurrent sessions. The SFTP file manager can browse, upload, download, rename, and delete remote files, with several sessions kept open and switched between quickly. Users can generate Ed25519, ECDSA, and RSA keys on the device and use key-based authentication. Connections can also pass through one or more jump hosts, with SSH agent forwarding. Biometric access can protect the app, with a configurable lock timeout. Credentials, keys, and connection information are stored on the device using Android Keystore encryption, according to the supplied description. The interface supports light and dark themes and is available in ten listed languages. SSHBorg is intended for server access and file work from a phone, including terminal tasks and SFTP transfers. The app says it has no ads, tracking, cloud service, or third-party SDKs. It requires the user to have access to an SSH server and configure a connection; it does not provide server hosting.
