About Syncthing-Lite
Syncthing-Lite is an Android client for browsing and transferring files from remote Syncthing shares. Unlike a full synchronization client, it downloads or uploads selected files as needed instead of keeping a complete local copy of the shared folder. This can be useful on a phone with limited storage when users need occasional access to files from another device. The app is described as being in early development, and its own notice recommends maintaining a separate, current backup before using it. Relay connections may not be available again for several minutes after the app is closed or a connection is interrupted; direct connections over the local network are not subject to that limitation. Syncthing-Lite is intended for on-demand access to shared files rather than continuous mirroring. The supplied evidence warns of possible data corruption or loss and makes clear that its behavior differs from a standard synchronizing client. Users should treat it as an early-stage tool and protect important files with independent backups.
