About URSA

URSA is an Android client for monitoring and managing a self-hosted Uptime Kuma installation. It displays live monitor state, response-time trends, uptime, heartbeat history, TLS certificate details, incidents, domains, events, and aggregate status. Search, filters, saved views, favorites, groups, and tags help organize monitors for triage, with compact and tablet layouts available. Users can manage multiple encrypted server connections, including password or TOTP sign-in and imported sessions. The app can create and edit common monitor settings, manage notification providers and maintenance, and perform confirmed bulk pause or resume actions. It supports self-signed certificates and custom access headers for reverse-proxy setups. Public status pages can also be viewed with groups, uptime, recent checks, maintenance, and incident history. Push alerts use a UnifiedPush distributor selected by the user. Notifications can be configured by monitor and severity, with quiet hours, delays, repeats, acknowledgement, and snoozing. Slow-response and certificate-expiry alerts can be generated locally. Encrypted backups and offline cache, an optional biometric or device-credential lock, a widget, Quick Settings tile, shortcuts, and notification actions round out the mobile controls. URSA connects directly to the user’s server and is free, open source, and described as having no ads, tracking, premium tier, or subscription. It is an independent client and requires an existing monitoring server.
