About Wifi Remote Play
Wifi Remote Play controls video playback on a computer over Wi-Fi. It works with Media Player Classic and VLC, providing play, pause, forward and backward skip, track navigation, seeking, volume, and mute controls. The app displays the current track, playback position, and total length. A file browser can select tracks, playlists, and video files; DVD interface controls are available for Media Player Classic. Users can also switch between windowed and fullscreen playback. The computer’s player must have its web interface enabled for the remote connection to work. VLC requires a password to be set. Wifi Remote Play is a controller for a player already running on a computer, not a media player itself. Its functions depend on the selected desktop player, with some controls available only for Media Player Classic.
