About Wol Panel
Wol Panel is an Android Wake-on-LAN client for waking computers on a local network. It keeps a device list on the phone across restarts, and a one-tap control sends a Wake-on-LAN magic packet to the chosen machine’s broadcast address. The app shows an online or offline status for each device, refreshed every 15 seconds or on demand, and reports whether a wake packet was sent, the machine is waking, it is awake, or the attempt failed. To configure a machine, the user enters its MAC address, host or IP address for status checks, the subnet broadcast address, the Wake-on-LAN port, and a TCP port that responds when the machine is available. The product information notes that Wake-on-LAN must be enabled in the computer’s firmware and network-adapter settings, and the phone must be on the same subnet. These network and device settings are prerequisites for the wake request to work. An optional SSH shortcut can hand a connection to a terminal app. Wol Panel communicates only with devices the user enters on the local network, with no account, cloud service, ads, analytics, or tracking described. It is a local network control panel rather than a remote-access service over the internet.
