About Agora

Agora is an Android client for using language models through configured providers, compatible endpoints, or local models. Users can keep conversations in branching trees, edit messages, regenerate responses, and create alternate branches. Token-budget controls help manage conversation context, while compact summaries preserve earlier material without deleting the original conversation. The app includes tools for web search, memory, searching past conversations, image generation, and connections to external tool servers. Automated tasks and longer-running jobs are supported, as are remote shell and file operations through configured devices. A built-in local inference engine can run GGUF models on the phone, and local embeddings are also available. Conversations and settings can be exported or imported in a versioned archive, including imported chat histories from other assistants. Agora uses a bring-your-own-provider approach: model requests go directly to the provider or endpoint selected by the user. External services receive data only when the corresponding feature is used. The app also supports automatic backups, configurable presentation of reasoning and tool activity, adjustable fonts and haptics, and multiple interface languages. Diagnostic reports are stored locally and sent only after the user confirms.
