About Donate your voice: CV Project
Donate your voice: CV Project is a mobile app for contributing recordings and review work to the Common Voice speech project. Contributors can sign in to an account, record prompted sentences, validate other clips, and report sentences or recordings that need attention. It supports multiple languages, with statistics and contributor rankings shown for a selected language. A daily goal provides a target for regular participation, while the app’s own usage statistics are described as anonymous. The app can continue contribution work offline, save recordings on the device, and later operate with a connection as needed. Its interface supports gestures, a dark theme, and configurable settings. These capabilities combine speech collection with quality review: people can contribute their own voice samples and help assess existing clips through the same app. The project context is to build a speech dataset from human voices for speech technology. The app is an independent client for that project, not its official app.
