About MAXS Module SmsNotify
MAXS Module SmsNotify is an add-on that reports new incoming SMS messages through MAXS. It provides an event notification when a text message arrives, making SMS activity available to the rest of a configured MAXS setup. The module requires MAXS Main and a configured transport, and it does not install its own launcher interface. It can optionally use the ContactsRead module, which allows contact information to be associated with phone numbers when that component is also installed. SmsNotify is useful when users want incoming-message alerts to be handled through MAXS. Its role is limited to notifying about new SMS messages; other components supply the transport and any additional contact lookup behavior.
