About AIPOS Password Manager
AIPOS Password Manager stores passwords, usernames, URLs, API keys, and two-factor authentication secrets in a local vault. It includes a built-in authenticator that can scan QR codes and generate time-based one-time passwords offline. Users can unlock the vault with a master password or biometric prompt and configure an automatic lock timeout. A dashboard summarizes vault health, while a bundled list of common weak passwords supports an offline check of master passwords and saved entries. The app can import credentials from CSV exports and create encrypted JSON backups for transfer or recovery. Its description says all data stays on the device and that it declares no network permissions. It lists hardware-backed encryption through Android Keystore and password-based encryption for backups. These are implementation details stated by the product, not an independent security assessment. AIPOS is intended to combine credential storage, offline 2FA codes, and portable encrypted backups in one Android app.
