About Authorizer

Authorizer uses an older smartphone as a password manager that enters saved passwords on another device by acting as a USB keyboard. When connected through a USB On-The-Go adapter, the phone can send a selected password to a computer, tablet, or another phone. A button press in the app types the password into the connected device, avoiding manual entry of long strings. The app’s central workflow is to store credentials on a separate phone and send a password as keyboard input when it is needed. This depends on the target device recognizing the phone as a USB keyboard and on a compatible USB connection. The supplied description does not explain how passwords are stored or protected, how entries are organized, or whether the app supports automatic password generation. Authorizer should therefore be understood from its documented behavior as a USB keyboard-emulation tool for entering saved passwords.
