Clash Meta For Android is a graphical client for configuring rule-based network tunnels. It can provide local HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS servers, and connect to remote nodes using protocols including VMess, Shadowsocks, Trojan, and Snell. A built-in DNS server supports DNS over HTTPS and DNS over TLS upstreams, as well as fake IP responses, with the stated aim of reducing the effect of DNS pollution attacks. Traffic can be directed to different nodes using rules based on domains, geographic IP ranges, IP address ranges, or the originating process. Remote groups allow rules to use fallback nodes, balance traffic across nodes, or automatically select a node based on latency. Remote providers can supply lists of nodes, so configurations do not have to contain every node manually. The app is intended for users who need fine-grained routing and multiple remote connections.
