About Encointer Wallet
Encointer Wallet is a wallet for participating in local currencies issued through the Encointer blockchain. It keeps custody of account private keys and lets users send funds to and receive funds from other people. The wallet also supports registration for community ceremonies and participation in ceremony meetups, which are part of the process described for receiving a universal basic income in a local currency. The app combines currency transfers with the activities needed to take part in a local community currency. Users can manage their account, join a ceremony, meet with other participants, and use the resulting currency within the network. It is designed for people participating in an Encointer community rather than as a general-purpose wallet for unrelated currencies.
