About Fake Contacts
Fake Contacts creates contact entries that are intentionally fabricated and stores them on the phone alongside real contacts. The app describes this as data poisoning: supplying false entries to applications or companies that copy contact data, with the aim of making such collected information less reliable. The fake entries are designed to coexist with a user’s real contacts. According to the supplied description, they do not interfere with normal phone use or with real contact entries. The app’s role is limited to creating these additional contacts; the record does not describe automatic contact creation schedules, removal tools, or control over what other apps can access. Fake Contacts is a contact-list utility centered on adding decoy data. Its intended use and effect depend on what other applications read from the phone’s contacts, which the supplied information does not detail.
