About FreeOTP+
FreeOTP+ generates one-time passwords for two-factor authentication using standard HOTP and TOTP protocols. Users can add token configurations by scanning QR codes or entering details manually, then search the token list and inspect more information about each token. The camera scanner supports modern device hardware, and the app can show offline icons for many services. Token settings can be exported or imported through document providers, and access to the app can be protected with a biometric check or PIN. Other settings and a dark theme allow some customization. FreeOTP+ supports standards-based tokens without requiring a proprietary server component. Its description warns that backup and restore have had reported issues, so users should verify transfer behavior when moving to a new device.
