SOFTWARE OVERVIEW

My Wifi Passwords

My Wifi Passwords reads saved Wi-Fi network names and passwords from Android’s Wi-Fi configuration file and displays them as a list.

About My Wifi Passwords

My Wifi Passwords reads saved Wi-Fi network names and passwords from Android’s Wi-Fi configuration file and displays them as a list. This can help a user retrieve credentials for a network already configured on the phone, such as when sharing access with a guest or entering the same password on a laptop. The app requires a rooted Android device because the configuration file is stored in a protected system location. It presents network names and their corresponding pre-shared keys, so a user does not need to inspect the configuration file manually. My Wifi Passwords is a credential viewer, not a Wi-Fi discovery or password-cracking tool. It displays saved access details available on the rooted device. The app is useful when the user has legitimate access to a saved network and needs to retrieve or share its password. Root access is a firm requirement for reading the protected configuration data.
