About NC Passwords

NC Passwords is an Android client for viewing and managing passwords stored in a compatible Nextcloud Passwords service. Users can search credentials, browse them by folder, copy a password quickly, and create, update, or delete entries. Favorites can be viewed or changed, and supported website logos can be shown beside saved credentials. The app supports Android Autofill so saved credentials can be used in other apps and websites. A local cache keeps passwords accessible when the device has no current internet connection. Optional biometric authentication can protect access to the app, and the interface can use the connected service’s theming. NC Passwords requires an existing compatible password service. Its role is to provide mobile access to that stored vault, with search, folders, favorites, autofill, and offline cache as its main features. The supplied description does not characterize it as a standalone password database independent of the server.
