About Privacy Indicators
Privacy Indicators notifies users when an app or system service accesses the device’s camera or microphone. It displays an indicator when either sensor is in use, making sensor activity visible while the user is using other apps. Camera and microphone indicators can be enabled or disabled separately. Users can customize the indicator’s color and position and optionally enable haptic feedback when it appears. The app’s accessibility service must be enabled for monitoring to work, and the service continues running in the background. It is also configured to start again after the phone restarts. Privacy Indicators is intended to provide a visible cue when the camera or microphone is active. Its controls let users decide which sensor indicators to show and how they appear. The app’s function depends on Android accessibility access so it can monitor sensor-use events while other apps are open.
