About Privamatic

Privamatic audits Android privacy-related settings and presents a score from 0 to 100. Its 50 automated checks cover areas such as screen lock, encryption, security updates, USB debugging, VPN, private DNS, advertising ID, Wi-Fi scanning, default apps, and installed applications. Checks that do not apply to a device are skipped, and when a setting cannot be read, the app may ask the user to verify it rather than automatically lowering the score. The score breakdown explains which checks contributed to the result. Quick Wins sorts suggested changes by their score impact and provides plain-language instructions with a link to the relevant settings page. The app rescans after a user returns. A history chart tracks score changes over time, while a home-screen widget shows the current score. Manual checks can remind users to review permissions and unused apps that cannot be assessed automatically. An SDK scan checks installed apps for known advertising and analytics components using a tracker database. Users can mark trusted apps so supported accessibility, notification, or location permissions do not count against the score. Privamatic works offline, has no internet permission, and stores results locally without accounts, cloud sync, or analytics. It is intended as an audit and guidance tool; the score reflects its checks and is not a complete guarantee of privacy or security.
