About Private DNS Quick Tile
Private DNS Quick Tile adds a control for Android’s Private DNS setting to the Quick Settings panel. On Android 9.0 and later, users can access DNS configuration more quickly from the system shade rather than navigating through the full settings interface. The app is focused on toggling or configuring Private DNS. Changing secure system settings requires the WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permission, which must be granted manually through an advanced device-management workflow. The app does not provide this permission automatically, and its core function depends on the user granting it. Private DNS Quick Tile is a small control utility rather than a DNS service. It lets the user access the Android setting but does not provide a DNS provider or explain which configuration should be selected. The supplied description does not specify the tile’s exact controls or appearance.
