About UDP Bus
UDP Bus creates UDP forwarders, hubs, and related networking tools. It can bind sockets to specified ports, exchange traffic among known peers or between multiple sockets, and remember peers for a configurable period. Users can also specify destinations directly, join multicast groups, and adjust socket options such as TTL, traffic class, and buffer sizes. Periodic datagrams can be sent to keep a network path active. Multiple isolated hubs can run with different port sets, and the app displays traffic statistics. It can be used in VPN, streaming, or other network experiments. UDP Bus does not send a received datagram back to its sender. The interface is described as rough, some settings may need to be added manually in JSON, and performance and testing are not fully optimized.
