About XiVPN
XiVPN is an Android client that routes internet traffic through the Xray proxy core using Android’s built-in VPN feature. It provides a graphical interface for configuring common Xray setups, so users can work with supported proxy protocols without manually editing complex JSON configuration files. The app supports protocols including VLESS, VMess, Trojan, and Shadowsocks. Proxy servers can be arranged into chains or groups, making it possible to switch between configured endpoints or route traffic through multiple proxies in sequence. Routing rules can direct traffic to different servers or groups based on IP address, port, or domain. The Xray core runs as a separate process from the app interface. This separation is intended to prevent core restarts from causing app-wide crashes and to limit problems such as memory leaks. XiVPN is a proxy client, not a VPN subscription service; users need their own server configuration and must choose a compatible endpoint. The app’s main role is to configure and manage flexible proxy routing through a mobile interface. Its capabilities depend on the supplied server details and the protocols supported by those servers.
